Gretsch, the originator of the die-cast hoop, has designed this hoop to offer strength and rigidity which allows for easier tuning, crisper rim shots, and cross-sticking. The hoop adds mass to the drum, creating a more focused tone. It’s perfect as a replacement or upgrade on any series of Gretsch drum, but these hoops will also work on any brand of drum. The hoop is in the die cast hoops category and has a chrome finish.
